Born in British Columbia and proudly vegetarian-owned, our mission is to make plant-based eating inclusive, accessible, and satisfying for all.
Our Story:
Dana, Jackie and Aiyana founded Brightside Foods and the recipes back in 2022. In 2024, they passed on the company to us, Aditi and Gaurav to grow.
After pitching a soy-free tofu idea at a local competition, we realized the frozen aisle was craving innovation—real food made with real ingredients. That’s when we found Brightside, a small but mighty local brand already doing things differently. With heart, hustle, and a lot of late-night burrito making, we’ve been building on that legacy ever since.
Our products are handcrafted in-house using simple, wholesome ingredients—no fake meat, no fillers, and no shortcuts. Every meal is packed with fresh, whole foods and wrapped in premium, locally-made tortillas. It’s food that supports our BC economy, treads lightly on the planet, and above all, brings joy to every bite. Whether you're plant-based, vegetarian, or just someone who loves good food, there's always a seat for you at our table.

Our collection includes some classics like the Habanero Hot Sauce and Cornbread, as well as some creations like the ever-popular Pinto Pocket, a hearty and flavourful Breakfast Burrito, and the wholesomely comforting Spicy Bean & Cheese Burrito (plus vegan versions of everything!).
